4. Understand resources available from the National Human Trafficking Resource Center and the United States Department of Homeland Security.

5. Utilize validated assessment tools for identifying a human trafficking victim and general indicators that a person may be a victim.

6. Understand procedures for sharing information related to human trafficking with a patient.

7. Learn how to competently and safely refer victims to options for legal and social services.
