Requirements for Successful Completion: This activity consists of an educational component (slides, audio/online lecture) which is followed by an online post-test.

Target Audience: Primary care Physicians, Specialty Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurses, and Licensed Healthcare Professionals.

 

Learning Objectives: As a result of the participation in this activity, participants should be able to: 
1. Recognize the role the licensing healthcare boards play in provider regulation.

2. Define the property rights providers maintain in their licenses.

3. Identify the steps of a license investigation.

4. Apply the "Three Strikes" Rule.

5. Predict the penalties issued by the Boards for various infractions.

 

Credit: NO continuing education credits will be awarded with the completion of this course.  This course offering is only for professional liability education and training.
